House music is in absurdly fine fettle. A new breed of producers are drawing inspiration from different colours of the musical spectrum, from Hip Hop from Broken Beat and beyond in order to add to it’s palette and mix it’s beloved elements.

Delving into this pool of emerging talent, Wednesday the 4th of May’s the∞weight passes over the controls to the crazy dope Karl Lumont, a 19 year old producer from Northern Germany.  Lumont, inspired by the likes of Max Graef, Leon Vynehall and by the natural world, has been steadily honing his skills over the last two years, making what he calls ‘warm music’ as well as delving into lo-fi Hip Hop.

Tune in at 20:00 GMT to hear a seriously selection of what moves and inspires Karl as well as a few of his own tracks including his belter on Russia’s Isaiah Tapes due out tomorrow.
